All kennels provide a personal courtyard with plenty of trees and greenery in the surroundings to ensure dogs don’t feel enclosed.
The dog kennels are sectioned off into four areas with secure fencing and double gating.
We have sections for large, medium and small dogs as well as sections for more timid dogs.
Dogs are given dry food + fresh cooked chicken mince with excess fat drained
We are more than happy to cater for canines on a special diet. Unlike other boarding sites we don’t charge you extra for this service (special dietary food must provided by owner)
We are now also able to cater for Special Care Dogs as all of our dogs are kennelled and exercised separately.
Diet food must be provided by owner, however if your dog is staying with us for a while or your strapped for time to buy the meals, we can purchase the special diet food for you (at owners expense).
We do not charge extra for giving dogs their medication. Owners must provide all medication and correct supply for their dog’s stay with us. We have a 24/7 on-call vet and are more than happy to contact your own vet if you prefer.
The beauty of being on a large country property means there’s plenty of open air yard time!!
Dog shell pools, shady trees and games/treats with the owners!! All this at no additional cost.

So grateful to Sampenny Kennels, you accommodated us so amazingly in an emergency situation. As an assistance dog in training I was always very hesitant to use a kennel, and I have extremely fussy standards about how and who my dog is cared for by; but you cared for Maya in such a loving way and made sure that we had all her needs met and regular photo updates for me whilst in hospital and that she wouldn’t have any detrimental effects on her training. Maya had such a great time too that I know she will be happy going back when needed. 100% recommend and we will see you again soon.

My Spoodle Luci spent two nights at Sampenny in March. She is around 10 months old and it was her first time staying at a kennels. My husband and I were worried about how she would go, but it turns out we had nothing to worry about. Sampenny took excellent care of our fur baby. When we picked her up her tail was wagging and she was happily going up to the staff for a pat and belly rub. We will happily take Luci back to Sampenny for any other times we will be away and need someone to look after our girl. Thank you Sampenny.

Easy to deal with and the best rates around the area, save yourself time and stress as I did. This facility is generously designed to allow room for you to "swing a cat" it's huge and so easy to move things in with trolley provided etc. I've been with other storage companies and this one is the best all round

Was fantastic! They took great care of my dog; made sure she had her medicine and was kept nice and cool in the middle of summer. Pretty sure she came home with more weight on her too - definitely fed well and looked after.

Management response to ‘Mel’ review posted on 7 January 2024. Mel states that within having the dog home for an hour it had explosive diarrhoea. Unfortunately Mel decided not to speak to us at all about this. The animals we care for are our utmost priority as we are animal lovers hence establishing this business. We take any issues, particularly with animal health very seriously and it is very unfortunate that this person chose not to even make contact with us. We only serve animals in our care high quality food and provide them with the highest level of care. This is evident and can be seen in all of our positive reviews from our many satisfied and repeat customers. The behaviour of Mel is disappointing but unfortunately this occurs from time to time in a customer service business. We believe if there really were issues, they would have made further contact with us which we of course would have responded to as required. We note that the dog was only unwell in their care and not ours.
